As one of the spearheads of BMW’s SUV range, the BMW x3 was first presented at the Detroit Motor Show in 2003 and launched in 2004. More than 9 years after its official launch, the 2013 BMW x3 still stands out as a reference in the SUV range, especially against its direct competitors such as the Volkswagen Tiguan, Audi Q5, Mercedes GLK class… which only saw the light of day a few years ago.

x3 on the tracks of the x5

Launched in 2004, the BMW xx E83 was designed to generate the same level of customer interest as the x5. A clientele looking for a 4×4 that is less imposing and less expensive than the X5. She quickly seduced. Like all BMW vehicles, this beautiful German car is equipped with noble materials, original technological and technical solutions always at the service of the driver. Since its launch, it has been a great success in Europe. At the beginning, in addition to its specific equipment, it also attracted attention because of the great diversity of its engines. In the petrol version, we find the famous 3.0i V6 231 hp, the 6 cylinder 2.5i 192 hp, the 4 cylinder 2.0i 150 hp. In the diesel version, we find the 204 hp 3.0d, the 150 hp 2.0d. BMW x3 f25 worthy replacement for the E83

To face the competition, especially the Audi Q5 and Mercedes GLK, the Bavarian manufacturer wanted to hit hard by releasing the BMW x3 f25. A pure BMW juice, a perfect restyling of the E83 model, the new BMW is more assertive with its look with its very low grille, and its sleek look. The BMW x3 f25 quickly gained a reputation as a powerful and luxurious SUV. Its petrol engines in the xDrive20i, xDrive28i and xDrive35i versions and its diesel engines, namely xDrive20d, xDrive30d and xDrive35d, have serious arguments to make against the competition.

With each release of its new series, the Bavarian manufacturer creates a surprise. The BMW x3 2012 and then the BMW x3 2013, it must be said that on the 4×4 SUV market competition is fierce. Despite BMW’s great reputation, the brand continues to defend its position. BMW is always faced with new entrants, or changes from its direct competitors. To face the competition, the ultimate secret of the 2012 BMW x3 but also of its little sister BMW x3 2013, remains the all-wheel drive system called drive.
